More than a 100 year old tradition and a constant view to new developments is not a contradiction in terms. We are proud of our history but at the same time we show great interest in new ways of working. Both enrich us in our daily work. The company, founded in 1918, presents itself today as a modern, medium-size hardwood sawmill in the densely-forested heart of Sachsen-Anhalt. In accordance with our organic and sustainable commitment, our wood mainly comes from approved forests belonging to regional forest companies. It is also extremely important to us to maintain loyal and long-standing business relationships with all our customers and suppliers whether they are from Germany or other parts of the world.
We have always laid great store on meeting the highest demand in quality, service, safety and reliability. The flexibility of our product and service portfolio enables us to be able to meet each and every individual customer requirement to the best of our ability and our customer’s satisfaction. We are able to do this as we have, over the years, steadily invested in the processing and especially in the finishing of the wood we work with. In addition to an atomized log yard, a log band saw and a trimming system, we also have a number of steam and drying chambers available.

Our flexibility and complete customer support sets us apart
With our log band saw system, we process between 13,000 and 15,000 cubic meters of high-quality German hardwood lumber per year. Moreover, we are also able to cut the logs to almost any diameter, any length and almost any dimension required using our multi-functional machine equipment. Owing to our long-standing business relationships to our lumber suppliers throughout the whole of Germany and especially in our very own region, we can guarantee our customers a reliable and sustainable supply of high-grade wood and are able to offer deliveries also at short-notice.
